SCJ stand for the Congregation of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with both priests and brothers as members.
HeadQuarter's of the Congregation are in Rome, Italy, with branches spread out in all reaches of the world; in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. SCJs first came to be present in Indonesia in the year 1924. As one of its branches, SCJs in Indonesia belong to the SCJ Province of Indonesia.
SCJ does not choose specific categories of work as a means of
indentification. Its priority is winning the hearts of people and leading them to recognize God's Love for
them. With this priority in mind
SCJ's mean to respond to whatever God wills for them in the here and now, for people's benefit and for building God's Kingdom. |
